Nevezis removed from Betsafe LKL

Nevezis Kedainiai will miss out Betsafe LKL 2019-20 season as the club did not provide documents to receive the license.

On the 15^th of July LKL Board provided Nevezis partial license. The club was asked to provide additional documents to be submitted until the 15^th of August. However, the club did not present any additional information and will not be able to compete in the Betsafe LKL for the 2019-20 campaign.

LKL Board will have urgent meeting on Wednesday to discuss the situation.

Only nine teams have received LKL licenses for the 2019-20 season.

Nevezis debuted in the LKL in 2002 and played in the top Lithuanian basketball division since.
