Nevezis guard Hearst named Betsafe LKL Player of the Week

Zaid Hearst of Nevezis was unstoppable in the Betsafe LKL last week, helping the Kedainiai club avoid a last-place finish in the standings that would have put them in danger of relegation.

The 27-year-old guard combined for 58 points in the two wins that put Nevezis clear of their main rivals Siauliai. Hearst scored 33 points in a 98-88 win over Nevezis and added 25 more in a 90-86 triumph over Pieno Zvaigzdes.

He headlined the Team of the Week with a competition-best average efficiency ranking of 32.5 per game, with a number of other big-hitting performances in the league.

Hearst was joined on the Team of the Week by Martinas Geben of Juventus, Elijah Brown of Dzukija, Benas Griciunas of Siauliai and Donatas Tarolis of Lietkabelis.
