Vytautas sign world-famous Ball brothers

Betsafe LKL club Vytautas Prienai-Birstonas officially announced having signed brothers LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball to short-term deals until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The up-and-coming players, aged 19 and 16 respectively, are expected to arrive in Lithuania in January and join the Virginijus Seskus-coached team in time for the second half of the season.

"Our club is excited about the arrival of LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball. We are committed to their long-term success and development as professional basketball players," the team's sports director Vilius Vaitkevicius confirmed the news via the club's official website.

A tough start of the campaign saw Vytautas lose the first nine games of the season, but the Prienai-Birstonas side have managed to steady the ship and are now in seventh place with a 4-9 mark after winning four games in a row.
