Prienai signs Van Oostrum

BC Prienai team adds some experience in the young squad by signing Devon Van Oostrum.

Van Oostrum (26, 193) represented Britain in 2011 and 2013 EuroBaskets, played 10 games in Euroleague.

Point guard had a 7 years deal with Baskonia Vitoria but was loaned mostly. Van Oostrum represented Cibona Zagreb in 2013-2014 season and averaged 1.2 points in Euroleague.

He spent last season in the Netherlands playing for New Heroes Den Bosch. Van Oostrum averaged 13 points and 3.8 assists in FIBA EuroCup.

Van Oostrum became seventh BC Prienai player, four of whom are teenagers. However British will team up with Mindaugas Lukauskis, who is the oldest active Betsafe LKL player aged 40. Full squad can be found here.
