Juventus beat Skycop to increase buffer
Juventus increased their buffer from their Betsafe LKL table neighbors Skycop to two games, beating the Virginijus Seskus-coached Prienai side 82-69 on the road on Friday evening.
The sixth-placed club from Utena improved to an 11-16 mark in the standings after outscoring their opponents 24-14 in the fourth quarter of play, with Martinas Geben leading the way with a game-high 22 points.
Marius Runkauskas was the only other Juventus player in double figures with 18 points, while Dovis Bickauskis filled the boxscore with 8 rebounds and 7 assists despite a modest night scoring-wise, tallying just 4 points on 2-of-7 shooting from the field.
For Skycop, who dropped to 9-18, Darjus Lavrinovic scored a team-high 16 points, Martynas Gecevicius scored 13 points and dished out 5 assists, while Zygimantas Janavicius chipped in with 11 points.
