Enjoying a breakout season under coach Kazys Maksvytis in Neptunas, Arnas Butkevicius snatched up the Betsafe LKL Player of the Month award for October and became the second player from the Klaipeda club to claim the monthly honors this season.
"There's no magic involved here," the player revealed. "I just feel good on the team and that's the merit of the coach. The style of play he's trying to implement also helps. I have also worked a lot individually. A lot of slight details added up."
The 25-year-old swingman averaged an efficiency of 25.5 last month, with no other Betsafe LKL player coming even close to challenging him.
