Palacios wins September MVP laurels

Neptunas big man Juan Palacios is enjoying a dream return to Lithuania, locking in the September MVP award after leading his new team to three victories in the first months of the new Betsafe LKL season.

The 31-year-old player from Colombia, who has previously played for Lietuvos Rytas a couple of seasons ago, immediately become a heavily-featured part in coach Kazys Maksvytis' system.

Palacios lit the league on fire in the month of September, averaging 18.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game for a league-high average efficiency rating of 22.7 ranking points.
