Zalgiris dominate Betsafe LKL Awards Ceremony; Ulanovas named Finals MVP
The curtain was closed on another Betsafe LKL campaign with Zalgiris not only defending their crown on the court but also stealing the spotlight in the Awards Ceremony for the 2018-19 season.
Having finished the year in fine form, Edgaras Ulanovas reeled in his second Finals MVP award after also winning the honors a couple of years ago in 2017. He was also named on the All-Star Five of the season, alongside teammates Marius Grigonis and Brandon Davies.
Arnas Butkevicius of Rytas and Zygimantas Janavicius of Skycop Prienai rounded out the lineup.

The spotlight was back on Zalgiris in other categories as well, with Sarunas Jasikevicius named Coach of the Year for the second year running by members of media and fellow Betsafe LKL players voting Thomas Walkup as the Defensive Player of the Year.
Having found success on loan at Neptunas, Gytis Masiulis was named the Young Player of the Year. The award is reserved for the best U21 player in the competition.
A poster dunk by Gytis Radzevicius of Juventus was selected as the Play of the Year, while Valdemaras Chomicius of Dzukija received a sportsmanship award, presented by Volfas Engelamn.
Rimantas Kaukenas was also honored for lifetime achievements in Betsafe LKL.
