Seibutis earns Player of the Week honors after career night

After leading Neptunas to a comeback win against Siauliai, Renaldas Seibutis became the first Betsafe LKL player to earn Player of the Week honors after the turn of the calendar.

The 32-year-old guard scored 20 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 5 assists and drew 7 fouls for a career-high efficiency ranking of 38 in the Lithuanian championship.

It was the third Player of the Week award for a representative of Neptunas in a row, with Juan Palacios and Edgaras Zelionis preceding the accomplishment by Seibutis, his first of the season.

The Team of the Week also features Gytis Masiulis of Zalgiris, Juventus dynamo Anthony Ireland, Arturas Jomantas from Lietuvos Rytas and Siauliai stud Laurynas Birutis.
