Rytas knocks down Lietkabelis for 1-1, Zalgiris outlasts Siauliai-7bet in overtime
Rytas Vilnius hit 15 of 24 three-pointers and dominated Lietkabelis Panevezys 88-66 in the Game 2 of the Betsafe-LKL finals. Giedrius Žibėnas squad tied the series 1-1 coming from a nine-point defeat in Vilnius earlier in the week.
Lukas Uleckas was the leading scorer for the winners, banking 24 points on a career high 6-of-7 from the three-point line. Arnas Butkevičius followed with 17 points and 8 rebounds while Gabrielius Maldūnas had 14 points for Lietkabelis.
Behind a late surge, Zalgiris Kaunas took the 2-0 lead versus Siauliai-7bet in the Betsafe-LKL third-place series. It was a back-and-forth marathon as the team coached by Kazys Maksvytis got a difficult 90-85 win in overtime.
Edgaras Ulanovas paired 16 points with 7 rebounds while Artūras Milaknis, Tyler Cavanaugh and Mantas Kalnietis scored 12 points each. Martynas Varnas and Nemanja Bezbradica had 16 points each for Siauliai-7bet.
