Citadele KMT – trophy guards Zalgiris and Betsafe-LKL team showdown

One month left until the final four of Citadele Karalius Mindaugas Cup. A sneak peak to the tournament is now available for the fans.

Paulius Jankunas, Marius Grigonis, Thomas Walkup, Martinas Geben – Zalgiris players are guarding their well deserved Citadele KMT trophy. Betsafe-LKL players Martynas Mazeika and Arvydas Siksnius are the ones who try to steal it.

“It was a very professional casting, it was my first time. It seemed like it will be a long process but now I can see that the result is very professional. The idea is also good because we try to steal the title every day”, – said Martynas Mazeika.

Citadele KMT final four will take place on February 13-14th in Panevezys Cido arena. Soon all teams that passed the quarter final will be announced.

After the first battles Zalgiris (+16), Lietkabelis (+19) and Neptunas (+15) have a safe lead.

The biggest intrigue is in the fight between Rytas Vilnius and Juventus Utena. Utena club won the first game by two points and have a chance to shock the favorites in the next fixture. The second match will be on January 16th in Vilnius.
