Rasheed Sulaimon and Sean McNeil Claim Victory and €3333 Prizes in Betsafe Casino 3-Point Contest

Midway through the intense finals day of The Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (Citadele KMT), the spotlight shone on Rasheed Sulaimon and Sean McNeil as they clinched shared victory in the Betsafe Casino 3-Point Contest, both earning coveted €3333 prizes.

In a nail-biting final, the shooting guards from Wolves Vilnius and Nevėžis-Optibet Kėdainiai showcased exceptional shooting skills, securing the shared title with 16 points each.

The road to this shared victory was not without its challenges as both finalists had to navigate a competitive field. In the semifinal showdown, Rasheed Sulaimon and Sean McNeil eliminated strong contenders Martynas Gecevičius and Danielius Lavrinovičius, posting 20 and 19 points to surpass the 18 and 17 points from their opponents.

The preliminary round was marked by standout performances, with Martynas Gecevičius and Danielius Lavrinovičius delivering impressive 22 point displays, followed closely by Rasheed Sulaimon and Sean McNeil with 19 points each.

The preliminary round also saw Artis Ate, Eimantas Stankevičius, Ivan Gandia-Rosa, Ignas Sargiūnas, Liutauras Lelevičius, Marius Valinskas, Lukas Uleckas, Brandon Tabb and 16-year old Edvinas Paulauskas competing. However, they fell short in the face of fierce competition.
