Juventus defeated Rytas with the game-winner, Lietkabelis with a blow out win against Neptunas

Juventus Utena keeps surprising Lithuanian basketball fans. This time Juventus 83:81 defeated Rytas Vilnius in Betsafe LKL match-up. Nine days ago Juventus defeated Rytas in Citadele King Mindaugas cup.

Juventus celebrated another huge win after Bryant Crawford's game-winner with two seconds left on the clock. Rytas could not answer it and had to face the sixth loss of the season.

Lietkabelis Panevezys used Rytas' surprising loss and jumped to the second position in the standings. Lietkabelis 102:64 blew past Neptunas Klaipeda and kept their huge momentum going after the win against Zalgiris Kaunas last week.

Martynas Sajus was unstoppable in Panevezys. Big man scored 24 points and made all 11 of his field goals. Margiris Normantas added 17 points to the win.

Osvaldas Olisevicius was the only Neptunas' player in double digits with 10 points.

Zalgiris Kaunas had a lot of trouble at home against Nevezis Kedainiai but despite that celebrated win number 17 after a close game 89:84.

Zalgiris had 17 points lead after three quarters but Nevezis came back and was close to the biggest win of the season. 

Laurynas Beliauskas could have tied the game with one minute to go but his three pointer was off target and Zalgiris defended their home court.

Rokas Jokubaitis, Edgaras Ulanovas and Karolis Lukosiunas scored 12 points each. Ulanovas did it only by playing 12 minutes. 

Beliauskas was the top scorer of the game with 28 points.
