Zalgiris had 17 points lead after three quarters but Nevezis came back and was close to the biggest win of the season.
Laurynas Beliauskas could have tied the game with one minute to go but his three pointer was off target and Zalgiris defended their home court.
Rokas Jokubaitis, Edgaras Ulanovas and Karolis Lukosiunas scored 12 points each. Ulanovas did it only by playing 12 minutes.
Beliauskas was the top scorer of the game with 28 points.
