Neptunas built three points lead after the first leg of the King Mindaugas cup QF
Neptunas Klaipeda started King Mindaugas cup Quarter-Final with a tough win in Alytus.
Neptunas celebrated win 92:89 against Sintek-Dzukija Alytus and built only three points lead before the second leg.
Sintek-Dzukija could not stop Gytis Masiulis who was only three points shy from the King Mindaugas cup record. Masiulis scored 32 points with six threes out of 11. Big man also made all eight of his free throws.
Chauncey Collins was hree points away from scoring record in a single game of King Mindaugas cup too. Point guard scored 32 points in 35 minutes. Although, he needed 22 field goal attempts to reach the mark.
Second leg between Neptunas and Sintek-Dzukija will be played on 11th of February in Klaipeda.
