Wolves take down Rytas, Zalgiris dominate against Neptūnas
After ending 2022 with a loss, Wolves got back to winning ways in style, starting 2023 by taking down defending champions Rytas at Vilnius 88:76. Jeffery Taylor led Wolves with 20 points, Eigirdas Žukauskas added 16. Martynas Echodas had 24 points for Rytas.
Žalgiris Kaunas comfortably stays on top of the Betsafe-LKL table, destroying Neptūnas Klaipėda at home 77:46. Newcomers Isaiah Taylor and Achille Polonara were in attendance as Ignas Brazdeikis poured a game-high 14 points. Kevarrius Hayes followed with 11.

Šiauliai were fortunate to see Corey Allen turnover in the final seconds that allowed them to celebrate victory. Rihards Kuksiks and Julius Jucikas had 18 points each for Pasvalys.
Labas GAS Prienai continue to struggle in their search for the first victory of the season. Team coached by Marius Kiltinavičius suffered its 15th straight defeat, losing to Gargždai 71:74. Jylan Washington led the way for Gargždai with 17 points, Kyan Anderson scored 15 points for the losing side.
