Siauliai advanced to Quarter-Finals after overtime
Siauliai became the last team to advance to the Quarter-Finals of the King Mindaugas Cup.
Siauliai were behind CBet Prienai by five points after the regulation but victory at home by the same amount of points allowed them to force the overtime.
Visitors looked better in overtime and celebrated the win 103-101 that allowed them to join seven other teams in King Mindaugas Cup Quarter-Finals.
Akeem Wright led Siauliai to the victory with 21 points, while Antanas Udras added 20.
Martynas Varnas was the top scorer for CBet with 22 points, Arnas Velicka added 19 points and eight assists in 41 minute.
The draw for Quarter-Final will be held on Saturday. Top four teams from the last season (Zalgiris Kaunas, Rytas Vilnius, Neptunas Klaipeda and Lietkabelis Panevezys) will be drawn with remaining four teams that are Siauliai, Sintek-Dzukija Alytus, Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys and Juventus Utena.
