Neptunas reclaim second place, Lietkabelis too strong for Siauliai
Neptunas reclaimed second place in the Betsafe LKL standings after using a late fourth-quarter push to get past Dzukija in a 70-68 contest in Klaipeda, improving to a 23-7 record to surpass Rytas in the table.
Deividas Gailius paced the victors with 15 points, Tomas Delininkaitis scored 13 points, while Jerai Grant and Gytis Masiulis chipped in with 10 and 8 points, respectively.
Meanwhile, Elijah Brown shared the game-high mark with 15 points for Dzukija, Paulius Petrilevicius double-doubled with 14 points and 11 rebounds, as Paulius Danisevicius and Kerem Kanter added 8 points apiece.
In the other game of the day, Lietkabelis handled Siauliai with ease for a 101-81 triumph, with Paulius Valinskas leading the way with 22 points and Ike Iroegbu pitching in 20.
Karolis Lukosiunas was the top-scoring player for Siauliai with 12 points in his account, while the trio of Evaldas Saulys, Ignas Vaitkus and Seth Allen scored 11 points each.
