Parakhouski headlines Kidy Tour King Mindaugas Cup All-Star Five
All four participating clubs were represented in the Kidy Tour King Mindaugas Cup Final Four All-Star Five, with Rytas center Artsiom Parakhouski headlining the selection after leading the Vilnius side to the title.
Although he wasn't as dominant in the Semi-Final, the Belarusian big man received the Most Valuable Player honors following a 14-point and 11-rebound double-double with 3 blocks in a 70-67 triumph over Zalgiris in the Final.
His teammate Chris Kramer joined him in the All-Star Five as the best point guard, going off for 20 points and 5 assists against Neptunas in the Semi-Final and adding 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the title clash.
While he couldn't crown it with the trophy, Zalgiris guard Marius Grigonis played some great basketball over the weekend. He was the top scorer for the Greens in the Semi-Final win against Lietkabelis with 19 points and then also registered a team-high of 15 points against Rytas.
The selection of the top performers in the Final Four was rounded out by Lietkabelis power forward Saulius Kulvietis and Neptunas swingman Kyle Weaver.
