Saulys-led Siauliai bounce back against Lietkabelis to bring things level

After losing the opening game of the Betsafe LKL Quarter-Finals in Panevezys, Siauliai bounced back against Lietkabelis with a 94-84 home victory on Tuesday.

The best-of-five series will return to the Cido Arena with the score tied at 1-1 after coach Antanas Sirekia and his side put together a convincing display to level things up.

Evaldas Saulys had one of his most memorable performances of the season, collecting a game-high 24 points, while adding 8 rebounds and 4 steals for an overall efficiency index of 34.

Akeem Wright chipped in with 17 points and 8 rebounds, while Vytautas Sarakauskas finished the game with 10 points despite picking up a knock in the second half.

For Lietkabelis, Croatian point guard Dominik Mavra was the top scorer with 18 points and 8 assists, Darjus Lavrinovic added 14 points, with Ksistof Lavrinovic and Lorenzo Williams collecting 12 points apiece.
