Bickauskis leads Juventus to another memorable win; Lietuvos Rytas and Neptunas also victorious

A lights-out performance against Lietkabelis earned the Zydrunas Urbonas-coached Juventus side another memorable win in the Betsafe LKL after defeating Neptunas the previous week.

The short-handed Utena club outlasted their visitors from Panevezys 105-95 after knocking down 15-of-20 of their three-point attempts on their home floor on Saturday.

Dovis Bickauskis paced the winners with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists, Arvydas Siksnius collected 26 points, while Mindaugas Kupsas added 17 points and 6 rebounds.

For Lietkabelis, Zanis Peiners had 29 points and 5 boards, Lukas Aukstikalnis scored 17 points, with Simas Jasaitis going 5-of-8 from deep for 15 points.

The win allowed Juventus to improve to an 11-18 record, while the fourth-placed Lietkabelis dropped to 18-11.

Elsewhere, second-placed Lietuvos Rytas (24-5) eased past bottom-of-the-table Vytautas (5-24) with a convincing 104-71 scoreline behind strong home display.

Travis Peterson had a game-high 19 point for the hosts, Ben Madgen scored 15, while Mindaugas Girdziunas and Martynas Echodas chipped in in with 13 and 11, respectively.

LiAngelo Ball was the top scorer for Vytautas with 16 points and 6 rebounds in 26 minutes of action, Eigirdas Zukauskas added 15 points and 6 boards, while Tomas Dimsa was the only other player in double figures with 12.

In a blow-out defeat, LaMelo Ball went 2-of-15 from the field and 2-of-5 from the free-throw stripe for 7 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

Meanwhile, Neptunas bounced back after their latest defeat to Juventus with a 90-71 victory over Pieno Zvaigzdes in Klaipeda.

Brandon Fields posted a game-high 21 points, Laurynas Beliauskas contributed with 13 points and Jameel McKay had his best game in the Betsafe LKL so far with 11 points.

The top scorer for Pieno Zvaigzeds, Osvaldas Olisevicius, had 15 points, while Vyacheslav Bobrov and Lis Shoshi scored 10 each.
