Kupsas earns Betsafe LKL Player of the Week honors

Juventus center Mindaugas Kupsas continued his stellar play in the Betsafe LKL by claiming the Player of the Week honors following a monster performance against Neptunas on the road in Klaipeda.

The 26-year-old big man collected a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds to reach an overall efficiency mark of 42 for the second time this season in the domestic championship.

Just a couple of weeks earlier, he posted an almost identical performance in a defeat against Lietkabelis. He holds the Betsafe LKL efficiency record for the season.

His teammate Dovis Bickauskis also shined in the 91-87 overtime upset win over Neptunas this week, scoring 22 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, dishing out 9 assists and registering 4 steals.

Joining them on the Team of the Week are Brandon Davies of Zalgiris, Parrish Petty of Dzukija and Neptunas forward Laimonas Kisielius.
