Citadele KMT Final Four Semifinal Matchups Confirmed

With the quarterfinal stage of the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (Citadele KMT) coming to an end on Sunday, the four teams that will battle for the trophy on February 21–22 in Šiauliai have now been confirmed.

The first semifinal will see Kaunas Žalgiris take on Klaipėda Neptūnas. The Kaunas powerhouse has held onto the Citadele KMT title since 2020, and it was Neptūnas whom they defeated in last season’s final.

The second semifinal will feature a clash between Vilnius Rytas and Panevėžys Lietkabelis. Rytas return to the semifinals after a one-year absence, although the capital club has not reached the final since 2020. Lietkabelis, meanwhile, have advanced to the semifinal stage for the tenth consecutive time—and have never left the tournament without a medal.
