In the new season of Betsafe-LKL, the fantasy game has been renewed

Lithuanian Basketball League (Betsafe-LKL) has extended cooperation with the Estonian startup Scorestars.io, previously known as Cryplect.

Just like last year, this platform will host the league's official fantasy game with virtual player cards. The game, which has been updated over the summer, will welcome users with various changes in functionality, which will help everyone who wants to get even more involved in the whirlwind of Betsafe-LKL battles.

"After a successful first season with Betsafe-LKL, we felt a connection with the league and together we were eager to create a virtual home for the league. The mere fact that 14 thousand Lithuanians participated in last year's game and collected cards is highly appreciated by us, we thank the fans for their trust. This season will be different - the platform looks different, has new game logic and is improved, and there will be even more prizes than before. We can't wait to see what the coming year has in store for us," said Scorestars.io CEO Marek Keskull.

Before the start of the season, all players will receive a free pack of 30 cards. The best players of the week will also be awarded with cards later on, which will allow them to further strengthen their fantasy teams. From now on, the game's marketplace will be fully functional, where it will be possible to exchange cards with other users.

This year, the Scorestars.io platform already works with four different European leagues. In addition to Betsafe-LKL, the game will function in the FIBA Champions League and the national championships of Turkey and Israel. Tyler Cavanaugh, who represented Kaunas "Žalgiris" last year, will already play in the Istanbul "Bahçeşehir" club this year, so his last season's card will be available for use in the "fantasy" game of the Turkish League.
