Rytas survives Betsafe-LKL finals rematch, Žalgiris cruises past Gargždai

In a thrilling matchup between Rytas Vilnius and 7bet-Lietkabelis, the defending champions secured a narrow victory with a final score of 92-91, thanks to Kendale McCullum making four crucial free throws in the final seconds of the game. Jamel Morris put up impressive numbers, scoring 26 points for Panevėžys, but ultimately could not overcome Rytas balanced attack, led by Martynas Echodas and Gytis Radzevičius who scored 17 points apiece.

Žalgiris Kaunas dominated Gargždai from start to finish, securing a convincing victory with a final score of 96-70. Tomas Dimša and Achille Polonara led the way, scoring 14 points each. Isiah Osborne had 21 for the losing side. Gargždai struggled to find their rhythm on offense and were unable to slow down Žalgiris high-powered attack. 

In an intense overtime battle, Nevėžis-Optibet Kėdainiai narrowly defeated Labas GAS Prienai with a final score of 112-105. Tim Lambrecht was the standout player of the game, setting a new Betsafe-LKL season high in efficiency (45) with 25 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists. Brad Davison followed with 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Wolves dominated Pieno žvaigždės Pasvalys with a final score of 94-63, showcasing their defensive prowess and offensive firepower. Rashard Kelly, a newcomer to the Wolves, had a solid performance with 14 points, helping to secure the victory. Pieno žvaigždės struggled to keep up with the Wolves throughout the game, and the final score reflected the lopsided nature of the contest.

In a hard-fought game, Uniclub Casino - Juventus Utena was able to secure an 89-80 victory over Šiauliai, thanks in large part to a strong first quarter performance that set the tone for the rest of the game. Despite a late push from a team coached by Antanas Sireika, team from Utena was able to hold on for the win.

After losing the first four matchups of the season, Neptūnas Klaipėda was finally able to secure a win against CBet Jonava with a 76-70 victory, thanks to a strong defensive effort and balanced scoring attack. Austin Wiley led the way for Neptūnas with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Dovis Bičkauskis was the top scorer for the CBet with 21 points.
