Žalgiris completed 2022 on top of the Betsafe-LKL, Prienai finished the year without a win

Žalgiris Kaunas finished the year in the Betsafe-LKL with a road win in Gargždai 89:71 and completed almost a perfect start of the 2022-2023 season with 13 wins. Laurynas Birutis led the offense with 15 points, Karolis Lukošiūnas added 14.

Rytas Vilnius completed its 2022 by narrowly beating Nevėžis-Optibet Kėdainiai 86:84. Gytis Radzevičius stepped up with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds, Marcus Foster scored 18. Artūrs Žagars had 25 points and 6 assists for Kėdainiai team.

7bet-Lietkabelis Panevėžys faced a challenge against Wolves on the road before getting an 86:80 victory. In a very close game Gyorgy Goloman led the scorers with 21 points, Željko Šakič added 15. Adas Juškevičius provided 15 points for Wolves.

Austin Wiley set a new Betsafe-LKL season-high at 24 rebounds as Neptūnas Klaipėda defeated winless Labas GAS Prienai 80:75. By getting close to an all-time record (28) of Žydrūnas Ilgauskas, A. Wiley also collected 14 points. Žygimantas Janavičius was the leading scorer with 18. 

With five players scoring in double figures, Uniclub Casino – Juventus Utena took a seventh straight win 93:77 over Pieno žvaigždės Pasvalys. Justin Alston stood out with 20 points, Martynas Paliukėnas added 17. Evaldas Šaulys scored 19 for Pasvalys.

Jeffery Garrett exploded for 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks, but it was not enough as CBet Jonava suffered its third defeat in a row, losing 74:82 against Šiauliai. Donatas Sabeckis led the winning side with 19 points and 5 assists, while Martynas Varnas added 16 points.
