Žalgiris falls to Rytas, Gargždai grab the first victory in Prienai

Red-hot Marcus Foster led Rytas Vilnius to a big fourth quarter comeback to force Žalgiris Kaunas to its first loss of this season 89:85. M. Foster logged 34 points, Ignas Brazdeikis ended up with 18 points in the losing effort.
Only one team remain winless after Betsafe-LKL newcomers Gargždai grabbed their first win against Labas GAS Prienai, who now have 0 wins and 8 losses. Leading from start to finish, Gargždai got a convincing victory 95:68 as Giedrius Staniulis went for 21 points to lead the team. Marius Runkauskas added 16, Klaidas Metrikis with 12 was the leader on the losing side.
Austin Wiley scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Neptūnas Klaipėda to a 100:80 win over Wolves. Deividas Gailius contributed 22 points while Eigirdas Žukauskas had 25 points for Wolves.
Keith Benson posted season-high 17 points as Uniclub Casino - Juventus Utena beat Pieno žvaigždės Pasvalys 87:80 on the road to improve its Betsafe-LKL record to 4-4. Justin Alston added 16 points plus 8 rebounds for Utena while Martynas Pacevičius had 16 points plus 8 rebounds for Pasvalys.
