Another close game for Zalgiris ended up as a win

Zalgiris Kaunas blew a double digit lead in the Gloria Cup tournament, but came on top 71:70 after a close game against Istambul Galatasaray. 

It is clear now that Zalgiris is going to end up in the second place in the group stage and is going to play for the third place in Gloria Cup on Sunday.

Zalgiris had a double digit lead in the third quarter after Thomas Walkup, Arturas Milaknis and Rokas Jokubaitis points (57:46).

Despite that, Galatasaray came back and with two minutes on the clock, Zalgiris were still in the lead 69:67. Walkup added two free throws but Galatasaray answered back with a three. After that both teams traded bad possesions and game ended with a close Zalgiris win.

Zach LeDay lead Zalgiris with 23 points and six rebounds while Walkup added 12 and Martinas Geben ten points.
