Rytas steal home-court advantage in Klaipeda
The Dainius Adomaitis-coached Rytas registered a rocking 75-46 victory over Neptunas to steal home-court advantage in the Semi-Finals from their higher-seeded opponents on Wednesday.
The win brought the Vilnius club within a single victory from the Finals, with Arnas Butkevicius leading the way with an impressive double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Derek Needham chipped in with 12 points, Artsiom Parakhouski and D.J. Seeley collected 11 points each, while Mindaugas Girdziunas rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points for the visitors.
Meanwhile, Gytis Masiulis finished with a team-high 12 points for Neptunas, hitting the only three-pointer for the hosts, who combined for 1-of-20 shooting from beyond the arc.
Deividas Gailius and Jerai Grant had 8 points each.
Game 2 of the series will be played in Vilnius on Friday.
