Needham named Betsafe LKL Player of the Week

It took Derek Needham no time at all to settle in with Rytas, with the 28-year-old guard claiming the Betsafe LKL Player of the Week honors following an impressive individual performance against Dzukija.

Having collected 20 points and dished out 9 assists without turning the ball over once, he finished the contests with an efficiency index of 30, as Rytas eased to a 92-69 victory over the visitors from Alytus in Vilnius.

Needham wasn't the only Rytas player on the Team of Week, with big man Matynas Echodas also enjoying a great game against Dzukija. The lineup was rounded out by the Skycop duo of Martynas Gecevicius and Arnas Labuckas, and Donatas Tarolis of Lietkabelis.
