Rytas too strong for Pieno Zvaigzdes; Skycop beat Dzukija in OT

After lifting the Kidy Tour King Mindaugas Cup before the international break, Rytas resumed Betsafe LKL action with a 99-83 victory over Pieno Zvaigzdes on Saturday, while Skycop Prienai came from behind to defeat Dzukija.

Dainius Adomaitis and his team came away with an easy win in Pasvalys, improving to a 17-5 record behind a 19-point and 10-rebound double-double by Martynas Echodas.

Christopher Kramer and Eimantas Bendzius collected 14 points for Rytas, while Artsiom Parakhouski chipped in with 10 points, as the visitors from Vilnius built the bulk of their advantage in the third quarter.

Yannick Franke was the top scorer for Pieno Zvaigzdes with 19 points, while Tomas Lekunas had 13 points in a losing effort.

In the other Saturday fixture, Skycop erased a 17-point deficit against Dzukija to steal an 83-82 overtime victory at home in Prienai. Arnas Labuckas paced the winners with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Martynas Gecevicius poured in 17 points.

Kerem Kanter led the scoring efforts of Dzukija with 17 points and 9 rebounds, Elijah Brown collected 14 points, while Dominykas Domarkas scored 13 points.
