Zelionis claims the last weekly MVP award of 2017

Neptunas big man Edgaras Zelionis became the last Betsafe LKL weekly MVP in 2017, helping the Klaipeda side finish the calendar year on a victorious note with a notable individual performance.

The 28-year-old center filled the boxscore with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, a pair of steals and a block in a 104-83 win against Vytautas for a total efficiency index of 28.

It was the second Player of the Week award for Zelionis in the Betsafe LKL and the sixth such achievement by a Neptunas player overall in 14 weeks of action.

There was another Neptunas representative in the Team of the Week in forward Laimonas Kisielius, with the lineup of weekly notables rounded out by Edvinas Seskus of Vytautas and Chris Kramer and Egidijus Mockevicius from Lietuvos Rytas.
