Lietkabelis have the top of the standings all to themselves in the Betsafe LKL after downing the only other previously undefeated team Neptunas on Wednesday evening at the Cido Arena in Panevezys.

Last season's darlings and runners-up improved to a 5-0 mark with an 88-76 victory over their guests from Klaipeda, who had also been enjoying a strong start to their campaign.

The Arturs Stalbergs-coached side built the decisive edge in the third quarter, during which they outscored their opponents 33-21 and ran away to a double-digit lead.

Lithuania international Adas Juskevicius paced the winners with a team-high 16 points, Donatas Tarolis collected 15 points, while Ksistof Lavrinovic added 12.

Meanwhile, Arnas Butkevicius continued his stellar play for Neptunas after claiming last week's MVP honors with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.

Elsewhere, Pieno Zvaigzdes inscribed their first win of the season by sailing past Dzukija 95-73 at home in Pasvalys behind a 27-point night from Ryan Harrow.

The 26-year-old guard went 11-of-17 from the field in just 23 minutes of action on the floor to set a new personal high, with Vyacheslav Bobrov chipping in with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals.

Katin Reinhardt was the top scorer for Dzukija with 15 points and Gediminas Navickas added 13 points.

Pieno Zvaigzdes improved to a 1-2 mark, while the Alytus side dropped to 1-4.
