Zalgiris set new season record and spoiled Juventus celebration

Zalgiris Kaunas dominated from the tip off in Utena and reached an easy win 101:77.

Juventus Utena celebrated the 20th team's birthday but Betsafe LKL champions did not allow Juventus fans to enjoy the day.

Zalgiris answered all questions in the first quarter and after 10 minutes were in the lead 38:11. This is the new single quarter scoring record of the season.

Juventus cut the deficit before the halftime (30:46) but could not get any closer and Zalgiris went back home with 16th win of the season.

Thomas Walkup scored 15 points for the winners. Erikas Venskus added 12 and reached a new career high in Betsafe LKL.
