Dzukija edge Skycop in the first leg of King Mindaugas Cup action

Dzukija began the Second Round of the King Mindaugas Cup with a narrow 84-83 win over Skycop in the away leg of the home-and-away tie on the road in Prienai on Thursday.

Arturas Jomantas led Andrej Urlep's side to victory with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, while Kendrick Brown and Egidijus Dimsa collected 13 and 10 points, respectively.

For the home side, Darjus Lavrinovic put up a game-high 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, Martynas Gecevicius scored 17 points, while Ovidijus Varanauskas chipped in with 15.

The return fixture will take place on December 4 in Alytus.
