Zalgiris ink two-time NBA champion Udrih
Betsafe LKL leaders Zalgiris hit the market just before Christmas and announced having signed Slovenian point guard Beno Udrih, who will join the Kaunas club until the end of the season.
The 35-year-old two-time NBA champion is set to join the team at the end of December and will fill the backcourt vacancy left by the departure of American guard Dee Bost.
Having lifted the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy twice with the San Antonio Spurs, Udrih last played for the Detroit Pistons last season and has been practicing individually in the first half of the 2017-18 season.
Zalgiris are first in the Betsafe LKL standings with a 14-2 record and have put together a solid campaign in EuroLeague, where they are fifth with a 9-5 mark.
