There was another easy win in store for Zalgiris in the Betsafe LKL, with the defending champions headlining Sunday's action with a 79-55 victory against Nevezis in Kedainiai.

Brandon Davies led all scorers with 16 points after going 8-of-9 from the field in under 13 minutes of playing time, while youngster Rokas Jokubaitis contributed with 11 points and 6 assists as the title-holders improved to a league-best 13-1 record.

Nevezis had no players in double figures, with Regimantas Miniotas and Gabrielius Maldunas at the top of the scorer list with 9 and 8 points, respectively.

Meanwhile, Lietkabelis held on to defeat Juventus in Utena 76-70 to climb to a 10-4 mark despite not having Marko Cakarevic and Jamar Wilson in the rotation.

Ziga Dimec paced the Panevezys side with a game-high 18 points, Saulius Kalvietis collected 13 points, while Vaidas Kariniauskas flirted with a double-double with 10 points and 8 assists.

Martinas Geben and Aleksandr Zakharov had 13 points apiece for Juventus, while Dovis Bickauskas finished the contest with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists.

In the only other game of the day, Pieno Zvaigizdes defeated Siauliai 96-86 behind a 20-point and 9-rebound effort from Zygimantas Skucas, as Jay Threatt and Dagoberto Pena added 16 and 14 points, respectively.

As per usual, Ignas Vaitkus was the top scorer for Siauliai with 22 points, Antanas Udras scored 14 points and grabbed 9 boards, while Arminas Urbutis chipped in with 12 points.
