Tomas Lekunas drained a half-court buzzer-beater to hand Pieno Zvaigzdes a dramatic 84-81 victory over Betsafe LKL standings rivals Siauliai on Wednesday.

Having improved to a 12-18 mark with the win, Pasvalys caught up with Siauliai in the league table who share an identical record.

Not only responsible for the game-winner, Lekunas also finished as the leading scorer for Pieno Zvaigzdes with 16 points. Trevon Hughes added 13 points, Jahenns-Ley Manigat collected 12 points and 5 assists.

For Siauliai, Akeem Wright had a game-high 19 points, Laurynas Birutis scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Donatas Sabeckis chipped in with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

In the other game of the day, fourth-placed Lietkabelis moved their marker to 19-11 with a 95-64 victory against Dzukija behind 19 points of Gintaras Leonavicius.

Donatas Tarolis added 14 points, while Lukas Aukstikalnis and Zanis Peiners chipped in with 12 points apiece.

Nikolaos Stylianou was the top scorer for Dzukija with 12 points, with Paulius Petrilevicius and Gediminas Zalalis contributing with 11 each in a losing effort.
