Traditions were not broken in the Betsafe LKL, with Zalgiris reaching the Finals for the 26th consecutive time after finishing off the series against Lietkabelis with an 84-63 victory in Panevezys on Thursday evening.

Still unbeaten in the Play-Offs, the top-seeded title-holders extended their post-season winning streak by defeating their opponents 2-0 in the Semi-Finals.

Marius Grigonis paced Zalgiris with 18 points, Deon Thompson had a good outing off the bench with 16 points, while Brandon Davies also made his impact felt with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

For Lietkabelis, Jamar Wilson registered 18 points, Paulius Valinskas and Ziga Dimec scored 12 points each, with Donatas Tarolis turning a near double-double of 8 points and 9 rebounds.

In the other Semi-Final series, Rytas hold a 1-0 lead over Neptunas with Game 2 to be played on Friday.
