The title-holders from Kaunas managed to break a close-fought contest their way in the fourth quarter, with Arturas Milaknis catching fire from deep and finishing the contest with a game-high 20 points.

Deon Thompson collected 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Marius Grigonis went an efficient 4-of-6 from the field to get into double figures with 11 points.

For Lietkabelis, Ike Ireogbu had a team-high 19 points, with Paulius Valinskas scoring 11 points.

In the other Sunday's fixture, Kerem Kanter went off for 35 points and 11 rebounds to lead Dzukija past Siauliai in a 110-97 win away from home, which further padded their situation in the standings.

Dominykas Domarkas scored 18 points and dished out 6 assists, Paulius Petrilevicius had 14 points, while Elijah Brown finished the game with 13 points next to his name on the boxscore.

Meanwhile, Arminas Urbutis had 24 points for Siauliai, as Seth Allen and Antanas Udras chipped in with 18 points apiece.
