Ever since returning to Lithuania mid-season, Zygimantas Skucas has been a difference-maker for Pieno Zvaigzdes, earning the Betsafe LKL Player of the Week honors for the second time in the last seven weeks.
The 26-year-old power forward helped the Pasvalys side to a 110-107 overtime win over Dzukija with an all-action 25 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals for a career-high efficiency mark of 32.
The rest of the Team of the Week also put together stellar individual displays, headlined by the Dzukija duo of Paulius Petrilevicius and Arturas Jomantas, who fared even better than Skucas but were not in contention for the weekly honors because of the defeat.
Petrilevicius went off for 30 points and 9 rebounds and finished 39 in the efficiency column of the boxscore, while Arturas Jomantas had 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for an efficiency score of 37.
Chauncey Collins of Nevezis and Simas Jasaitis of Lietkabelis rounded out the Team of the Week.
