The search of a new big man is over in Vilnius with the Dainius Adomaitis-coached Rytas bolstering its frontcourt depth with the addition of Belarusian center Artsiom Parakhouski.

The 31-year-old five man began the season without a club, but played for Maccabi Tel Aviv last year. He averaged 7.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in EuroLeague.

"This is player of a high level who has EuroLeague experience," said the club's Sporting Director Linas Kleiza. "We are preparing for the Top 16 stage of the EuroCup and an addition like this was necessary. We will try to bring him into the team as quickly as possible, with important international battles resuming in January."

Parakhouski is expected to make his Rytas debut on Sunday, when the Vilnius side travel to Panevezys to face Lietkabelis.
