Martynas Gecevicius carried Skycop Prienai to the Quarter-Finals of the King Mindaugas Cup with a 28-point performance in a 79-68 second-leg victory against Dzukija.

Having trailed by as many as 15 points in the second quarter, the Virginijus Seskus-coached side rode the hot hand of the 30-year-old sharpshooter to complete a 26-point turnaround.

In addition to scoring 28 points, Gecevicius also collected 4 rebounds and 5 assists, with Darjus Lavrinovic and Michael Bruesewitz chipping in with 15 and 13 points, respectively.

Egidijus Dimsa had a team-high 16 points and 12 rebounds for Dzukija, Kendrick Brown scored 13 points, while Dominykas Domarkas finished the contest with 12 points in a losing effort.
