Vytautas turned some heads with their 80-67 victory over playoff-bound Juventus and kept their hopes of rising from the bottom of the standings alive.

Vytautas ar dead-last with an 8-24 record, but they've closed the margin between them and ninth-placed Dzukija to just one win. Juventus dropped to an 11-21 record, as they remain seventh.

The two sides had a lot of trouble getting things going, as the score was tied at 1-1 nearly halfway through the first quarter. Vytautas made some room for themeslves at the end of the third quarter, as they increased their lead to seven. They added to the margin and ended up winning by double-digits.

LiAngelo Ball was an unfortunate casualty for Vytautas, as he came down with an ankle injury after an awkward landing right after he entered the game.

Rashaun Broadus led the vistors in scoring with 17 points. Egidijus Dimsa added 16 points, 7 boards and 3 assists, while Eigirdas Zukauskas and Justas Sinica finished up with 12 apiece.

For Juventus, Dino Pita and Maksym Korniienko were the top gunners, scoring 12 each. Dovis Bickauskas added 11 points and 7 assists, while Karolis Guscikas finished up with 10 points and 7 rebounds
