Maksym Kornieenko put together his best performance in the Betsafe LKL this season, leading Juventus to a surprise win over Lietkabelis on Sunday to claim the Player of the Week honors.

The 30-year-old power forward from Ukraine scored 20 points on an efficient 7-of-9 shooting from the field, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 3 assists, while also doing solid work on the defensive end with 3 blocks and a pair of steals.

Juventus upset the visiting Panevezys side 91-71 to move to 5-10 in the standings.

"After a couple of bad games, I finally showed how I can play," Korniienko told LKL.LT. "This game was an in important step forward. It was important both for my personally and for the team as a whole."

His teammate Laron Dendy also earned a spot on the Team of the Week with contributions of 21 points and 9 rebounds in the game, with the list being rounded out by Siauliai forward Omar Prewitt, Neptunas playmaker Jerry Johnson and big man Travis Peterson of Lietuvos Rytas.
